Historical figures, reimagined

Most workers start as a profession and level up with use. The Elites are different — they’re famous historical figures cast as personas, available alongside the rest of your catalog. You hire one the way you’d hire any worker, and place it in a Company.

They start at the top

Elites don’t grind for experience. Like Theodor, they show Lv Maximum by design — they ship at full level rather than climbing from Rookie.

Locked names, editable everything-else

System workers (Theodor, the Librarian, the Designer, the Chief Inspector) and the Elites keep their canonical names — renaming “Leonardo da Vinci” to “Bob” would break the conceit. Their tagline stays editable, and so do their instructions and model, so you can still tune how they work.

Browse the catalog from the Workers tab; the Elite tier sits among the 90+ pre-designed workers across the 95 professions. Cast one when you want a marquee collaborator for a specific kind of work.

What they’re actually good for

An Elite is a persona, not a séance — it’s a well-drawn character with a distinctive angle, and that angle is the useful part. Two ways to use it well, and one honest caveat:

A deliberately different lens on the same work. Hand the same brief to a regular worker and to an Elite whose reputation fits the problem, then compare. You’re not getting the historical person’s opinion; you’re getting a strongly-flavoured persona that pushes the model away from its blandest answer. When both drafts agree, that’s mild evidence you’re on solid ground. When they diverge, the disagreement is usually the interesting bit.

A collaborator that’s pleasant to work with. Some jobs are easier to start when the blank page has a personality on the other side of it. If casting a memorable figure gets you to actually brief the task instead of putting it off for a week, that’s a real productivity gain — even if it sounds like a soft one.

It’s a character, not the person

An Elite doesn’t have privileged access to what that figure knew, thought, or would say. It’s a persona shaping a model’s output. Use it for tone, angle and momentum — never cite it as though the historical figure had opinions about your business.
