Goals that track themselves

A Company’s 🎯 Goals tab holds its objectives and OKRs — and their progress keeps itself current as the linked work gets done.

What you’ll learn

  • Where Company goals live and how to add one.
  • How progress is computed instead of typed in by hand.
  • How a finished goal feeds back into your workers.

Set the objective

Open a Company and click 🎯 Goals (under the Run it tabs). Add a goal — an objective with measurable key results (an OKR). Goals are per-Company: each team tracks its own, scoped here rather than at the top level.

Progress that computes itself

You don’t nudge a percentage bar by hand. Goals show progress, and the Goals tab rolls it up from the work attached to them — so the number reflects what’s actually shipped, not what someone remembered to update.

Goals feed back into workers

A completed goal isn’t a dead end. When a goal a worker contributed to is achieved, a performance review is auto-written for that worker (separate from their Friday journal). Hitting goals is how your workforce visibly grows.

Recap

Company goals are OKRs whose progress is computed from linked tasks, and achieving one writes a review for the workers who helped — so tracking and growth both happen on their own. That completes the Build a company track.
